RICARDO N. ALVAREZ, PE, REM - BS-Civil Engineering, University of Texas-Eng. Alvarez is a registered professional engineer from the PR Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors since 1983, License No. 9078. Post-graduated courses in Environmental Engineering Management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Hato Rey, PR, 1998. He is a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals since 1995, License No. 7982. Eng.Alvarez has twenty years of experience in environmental management and remediation projects. Broad professional experience in the areas of Site Investigations and Characterizations, Underground Storage Tank Closures/Installations, Removals, Remedial Services. Well versed knowledge of federal and local environmental regulations Specialist in on-site/in-situ clean-ups of polluted and/or affected areas. His experience includes the development and management of a comprehensive program safety plan to protect all clean up personnel, including both prime and subcontractors in contaminated and uncontaminated areas, develop, implement and manage a Quality Assurance Program. In addition, Eng. Alvarez has co-authored two posters presented at the Seventh International Symposium of In-Situ and On-Site Bioremediation: Aerobic/Anaerobic In-Situ Bioremediation of Diesel Contaminated Soil and Bioremediation of Diesel Polluted Soil and Groundwater Under Denitrifying Conditions. Mr. Oliver holds an Environmental Manager MS Environmental Program, UMET University, Hato Rey, PR. Mr. Oliver has ten years of experience in environmental projects. His experience includes: Remedial activities using bioremediation technologies, site investigations and characterizations, Underground Storage Tanks closures, preparation of projects reports, client management, management work plans for planned remedial actions, and management of project team, groundwater monitoring wells,soil disposal Permit, and Emergency Response activities. DIAZ RODRIGUEZ, REM, CEA, ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY SPECIALIST - Mr. Diaz is a Registered Environmental Manager/Certified Environmental Auditor and also holds a Bachelor Degree in Sciences with a Major in Natural Sciences and a Minor in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. He also has competed graduate courses in Environmental Management with a Major in Risk Management and Environmental Assessment from the Metropolitan University. He has 12 years of industrial experience as a Project Manager and Supervision in the Hazardous Waste Industry and also worked as Emergency Response Spill Leader and Inventory Owner in pharmaceuticals operations. He has conducted Hazardous Wastes Management/Site Remediation projects including supervisory and technical removal operations for state and federal government, petrochemicals and pharmaceutical plants in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and the U.S. He has performed intensive Training in the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)
